A Peer to Danish Modernism
A number of classic mid-century modern lounge chairs, each one an icon in its own right, may have served as the starting point for the Stefan's design when it was created in the early 1960s.
Despite drawing from Danish modernist heritage, the Stefan gives it a unique Polish spin and maintains its own design language. Its finely curved armrests are offset by a minimalistic and less dynamic frame. Similarly, exotic teak wood has been replaced with the classic and purely polish oak. As a result, the Stefan hits just the right balance between distinguished and understated and pays a tribute to a more elegant age while being far from boring.
Sixty Years Forward
While being a faithful reissue of its forebear, the contemporary Stefan brings a number of aesthetic and practical improvements. To please the eye, the organic curves of armrests have been enhanced further along with brass sliders added at the end of each leg.
The dimensions of the frame are now slightly adjusted to match the size of today’s people. Finally, the webbing belts are now more immune to overstretching, while the cushions got a rectangular shape and are now filled with superior high-density foam.
Finally, for its sixtieth birthday, the once-armchair got coupled with a two-seater declination, so that more than one person can enjoy Stefan’s embracing comfort at once.

The upholstery is formed by two independent and portable cushions made of high-density foam and set against bottom webbing straps and backrest rungs to provide outstanding comfort. To combine aesthetics with functionality, cushion covers can be easily washed or exchanged for new ones to change the look of the furniture at any time.
Stefan Series unites mid-century design’s aesthetics with the tradition of Polish quality craftsmanship. The chair is available in oak with hand-sewn upholstery in textile and leather. Manufactured locally out of finest materials by our most dedicated and skilled craftspeople, this furniture is durable enough to last for generations and rise to the grade of timeless design.

CUSTOMIZE YOUR STEFAN
Knowing that comfort and elegance come in many colours and textures, we invite you to customize your Stefan. The armchair is available in four shades of oak: from natural and slightly darker shade, all the way to much darker brown and black variants. Hand-sewn cushions can be made in multiple textiles and leather.
Our favourite combos? Red upholstery in Braid Sierra fabric set on a dark frame feels like a ticket to Italy. Beige Coco Creme fabric paired with natural oak, on the other hand, is crying out for a glamorous penthouse somewhere in Manhattan.
