Wytrzyszczka is a forest, considered as a "miracle of nature", located in a picturesque area of the Lesser Poland Voivodeship. Its unique structure is intertwined with numerous specimens of old deciduous trees and watercourses, supporting small retention. The natural value of this area is additionally enhanced by the presence of significant amounts of dead wood, which is an essential and inseparable element of the life cycle of any forest.
Why we want to prevent deforestation in Poland?

All this so that the forest lasts forever. Currently, about 98% of forests in Poland are used for economic purposes, which are less resistant to climate change and are poorer in species. Therefore, from the point of view of the environment, they do not fulfill their natural function. Massive, large-scale deforestation processes expose valuable ecosystems to a number of unfavorable conditions. They also take away the possibility of undergrowth regeneration and inhibit the process of oxygen production. This has irreversible consequences not only for the natural environment, but also for all of us. Therefore, forest protection is our priority.
