Chair Type 200-190 designed by Rajmund Teofil Hałas in 1963 is one of the most important projects in the history of Polish furniture manufacturing from the 1960s. During his scholarship in Finland, Hałas was influenced by Nordic design, which we can undoubtedly see in many of his designs that reference Scandinavian design thought.
His best-known design, Chair Type 200-190, is a piece of furniture with a simple wooden structure, an exceptionally comfortable seat and backrest that has become an integral part of many Polish homes.
Now the furniture has been adapted to the dimensions of the average modern user. The main raw materials used in production have also changed. Instead of beech - solid ash wood, high resilient foam in place of moltoprene.

The 200-190 Chair possesses an elegant shape yet sturdy construction rooted in a simple, minimal and solid design expression. In its new incarnation, the chair is made of exclusive ash wood and finished with brass details. Because in the details lies the essence of good design!

The 200-190 Series is not only about the iconic Chair. At 366 Concept we wanted to expand it and pay tribute to what is best in design. That is why in the last few years we introduced various Bar Stools and a Bench based on the original design of the 200-190 Chair.
Both chairs and bar stools are available in upholstered, mix and timber versions so that our customers could enjoy the endless variety of colors, structures and forms.
