366 Series
The 366 Armchair, an Icon of Polish Design, was designed in 1962 by Józef Chierowski, and in 2014 was re-issued by us under an exclusive license. Thanks to the new technology, we could hide the screws connecting the seat – just like the designer dreamed 50 years ago.
The 366 Armchair is one of the most popular designs of its era – it was produced in the amount of one million pieces. Nowadays, its new incarnation is a star at world exhibitions, such as the “The Pan-European Living Room”exhibition held by the famous OMA architectural office at the Design Museum in London in 2016. It also wins awards such as the Must Have at the Łódź Design Festival.
The 366 Armchair is also one of the stars of the movie Le Redoutable about the famous French film director, Jean-Luc Godard, who had it in his apartment in the 1960s. Small dimensions and form make it universal and timeless. Perfect for small apartments, cafes, offices and waiting rooms. The 366 series includes Sofas, a Rocking Chair and Coffee Tables, designed in a contemporary way and respecting the original forms of the prototype.
