The KA237 Chair was designed in 1966 by Aleksander Kuczma for the Central Furniture Development Centre in Poznan. The furniture has never got beyond the prototype stage. It has been industrially produced for the first time since 2022.

The Chair is a manifestation of the pioneering attempts of the Polish furniture industry to construct a chair out of plastic. The idea was to obtain a seat that would encourage people to adopt a correct sitting position. Now the KA237 represents a simple design with a light form and minimalistic aesthetics. The seat is available in oak wood.
